why would i bother trying to beat scores when you members have to cheat to win.
its just a matter of time before the admin picks up you are all a cheat and your scores will be removed which leaves me back on number 1.

I love defending scores that are legit. I noticed a few of the scores that I had were not capable of getting much more than I had got due to the way the game is and the scores they have been getting are not possible.

Whats going on?

I am hurt and also sorry you feel that i have in anyway cheated.
I work hard on the games i play have never cheated nor do I appreciate anyone who does it simply wouldn't be fair.

If i knew how to cheat, what would be the point, I enjoy figuring out how the game works and try to beat my own scores, I don't intentionally set out to get the High score, I am here to have fun, but if you feel like accusing people of cheating just because they have a high score then I think the idea of competition is sadly lost on you guys.

If you think the score achieved is difficult to get due to the game setup, then please feel free to ask, I am always happy to explain the hows and whys, but in most cases I found the clues are in the instructions.

How about i delete all the v2 games which i no members can cheat on and install v33 games and start from scratch. this will rule out anyone cheating, then you can all get back to business and put in a fare fight in the arcade and forget anything like this was said.
the arcade is getting upgraded to the latest version, its going to look different until the arcade skin designer finishes the top 12 layout, so make do with a stock arcade till then.

you all should agree to this as v2 games should have been removed long ago. we have had so many cheaters in the past Sybarite so forgive whats been said. the arcade admin Cp arcade shows me how long it takes a member to get a high score. what im seeing is eg: some members are getting a score in 3 minutes when the game takes 8 minutes of game play alone.
v33 games you all think? make it fare for now and the future ?
they will be better games and will work great with the latest version of ibpro arcade

Yes I am going to enjoy playing, and I hope it renews peoples interest as it has been quiet in there recently

yeah agreed, i actually thought i had more v3 games on my computer than what got installed. but thats all i have till i go donate for some more. i have 2000 v2 games lol, but v2 games are dieing out. v3 and v4 is the go now.

it is new, the old look is gone for now, just waiting for the arcade coder to code the layout for this upgrade. i also need to install "in new window" to.
i think theres some really cool games to have fun with till i get more.

Ah, I just saw this thread had been updated, and I am a bit surprised too, that people have immediately thought 'cheat' when their scores have been beaten.

I also enjoy some good competition, and have found that there are some scores that are way beyond what I can do - a lot of Flash's scores for example. On the other hand, there are some scores where if you read the instructions, it gives you some pretty good hints - one I can think of off the top of my head is a ski jumping game - the instructions give you some combinations that score very well, and using these hints gave me a score that was nearly 4 times what anyone else could get.

I should also say that I use my Wacom drawing pad and pen, which I get a lot quicker reaction time and more precise aiming with than with my mouse.

Also, like Sybarite, I am happy to share any tips I work out to get more points in games to anyone who asks - eg this morning, DeCode beat my score in a game which I had 970 out of what I thought was a maximum of 1000 points. S/he beat it with a score of 1260, which I thought was impossible....but it just took a little extra playing and trying a few different things to work out that it WAS possible to get over 1000 in that particular game.

Anyway, I think the suggestion to reset is probably a good one.
