I was offered a staff position on here and did that for a while... So, I used to be on here all the time..Often posting and trying to help others out.. I was offered a staff position on here and did that for a while but life got crazy, and I couldnt get online enough, so I gave up the position.

Life is still crazy, and coming to the end of my university career, working, and lots of family stuff going on, but im feeling a little lost sometimes. So iv decided to come back on here, hoping that this place can once agian be a place to vent the things I cant seem to vent in person...

To start off, those around me seem to have these amazing aspirations of who I will become and who I am supposed to be. As I said, im coming to the end of my life as a student and am trying to prepare myself for the real world. While in many aspects I cannot wait to be free of essays, exams and constant, never ending stress...Im finding myself more and more terrified when I look around for possible jobs and careers. My biggest issue is deciding where I want to live. I realize that where I choose to move may not be where I spend the rest of my life, but it will be where I hope to start my career, and hopfully meet someone I can see myself with for the rest of my life.

Her name is Katie Kirkpatrick, 21 yrs old. Next to her is her fiance, Nick, 23.
This picture was taken prior to their wedding January 11th, 2005 . Katie has terminal cancer and spends hours in chemotherapy.
Here Nick awaits while she finishes one of the sessions..
Even in pain and dealing with her organs shutting down, with the help of morphine, Katie took care of every single wedding planning.
Her dress had to be adjusted several times due to Katie's constant weight loss.






An expected guest was her oxygen tank. Katie had to use it during the ceremony and reception.
The other couple in this picture are Nick's parents, very emotional with the wedding and of course to see their son marrying the girl he fell in love when he was an adolescent.

In the middle of the party Katie had to rest for a bit and catch her breath. The pain doesn't allow her to stand for long period of time.






Katie died 5 days after her wedding. To see a fragile woman dress as bride with a beautiful smile makes you think... happiness is always there within reach, no matter how long it lasts.....lets enjoy life and don't live a complicated life. Life is too short.

I found out that I’m not normal . . . ha! Who is normal? What I should have said is I’m very abnormal. It’s one thing to find out you has a disease that’s genetic, but to find out that I’m a werewolf- well I’m not a werewolf yet. I need to be “activated” so I’m told. Even though Richard left my mom and me, I still go visit him because of the stupid custody thing. That’s how I found out about my- my weirdness. It was a couple of weeks ago when I went over to Richard’s that he told me about it. I just laughed in his face and went back to my room. Werewolves? You have got to be kidding me. Never had I heard such BS! But then I started to get these cravings like Theodore in Alvin and the chipmunks meet the Wolman. Actually I still have the cravings and they won’t go away until I become a full fledged werewolf but that is never going to happen. I refuse to ever become a mindless killing machine!!!!
This morning I woke up to a loud crash in the room next to mine. I glance over at the clock and see fuzzy red numbers flashing back. Roughly I rubbed my eyes and gazed at the clock again. What the hell?! At first I thought it was Richard making all that noise until I heard a painful groan echo throughout the house. Quickly I scurried out of bed and ran to my door on the other side stood this massive wolf. My lips formed a perfect o but nothing came out. My whole entire body began to shake with fear.

The moon was full, making the stars shine brighter in the night sky.
Watching him swim in the beautiful lake below me.
Swimming gracefully, unaware if my presence. The light of the moon shimmering all around his lovely body, reflecting the gorgeous amber of his eyes. They seemed to glow, so alive and free.
My grandfather warned me about the things with amber eyes. Things? Such nonsense he speaks. If his people look anything like him, they are all lovely.
I’m in love with this man I know nothing of. How do I get closer to him? My desire for him burns wildly within me.
With so many thoughts, I looked down and he was gone. My gorgeous stranger, where did you go? Frantically I searched through the darkness, but he was nowhere in sight.
How could I lose track of him above high ground? The massive trees protecting me from sight.
As I turned slowly, careful not to lose my balance; I hear soft breathing. Then I see them. Amber eyes glowing in the fire deep inside me.
How did he get up the tree without me hearing a single sound?
He just stared at me and I at him. I was not afraid even though my heart was beating as if it would jump from my chest. “Hello,” I said. A deep growl emerged from his mouth, so gorgeous and perfectly shaped. “You should not be here! You are in danger as we speak! Leave quickly, now!!”
“But, I just wish to know your name. Please.” “My name is Ryau. I am Prince of this forest. I am not of your world. I am a Lyhaitian. Part wolf and man.
“There’s no more time to talk. Go, please. I do not wish to see you die, my fair one.” And he was gone.
In the distance there were low howls, wanting, searching. I knew then what he meant. I was in danger!
Climbing down the tree proved to be more of a challenge this time. Finally, I reached the bottom and began to run.
A howl, closer this time, behind me. Another, to my right! Oh my god! I’m not going to make it, I thought.
Running as fast as I could, not really watching where I was going. Out of nowhere I could hear the soft thud of paws right behind me; turning around I could see a wolf as big as a horse. I realized my horrible mistake when I fell to the ground. Looking up I could see a circle of wolves moving in.
I began to tremble with fear when a big gray wolf made his way towards me. Showing is fangs and crouching in attack made the wolf lounge. Closing my eyes tightly I began to scream.
“Leave her be, father. She is not to be harmed!”
“Ryau?” I whispered opening my eyes.
“Stand down Ryau. She must be terminated before she tells others about us!”
Crouching in front of me was Ryau and before him a man with shaggy hair. His face taunt with anger. Ryau’s body tensed when his father began to move closer.
“Stay away father. Can you not tell that she is part of us? Look at the bright gold specks of color in her eyes. Smell her sent. Somewhere in her family line there was a Lyhaitian. You can not kill her. She is one of us no matter how little Lyhaitian blood she has.
“And, you know as well as I that female Lyhaitian are rare. Give her a chance father. I have faith in her!”
“Fine. She is yours to look after, Ryau. If she tells a single soul you will have the honor of killing her!”
A gasp escaped my mouth. Ryau’s father glared at me before he turned around and transformed back into a wolf.
Rayu turned towards me; his eyes glowing brighter than ever. His long black hair reflected the moon’s marvelous light as he to transform. As he lay on the ground I had the strangest feeling that he wanted me to climb onto his back, so I did.
He bounded off into the forest so fast that I almost fell. Quickly, I wrapped my arms around his neck and closed my eyes.
I’m going to be sick, I thought. Eventually, Ryau had slowed to a walk once we emerged from the forest. On the horizon was the light from the approaching sun. Ryau’s body trembled and his fur began to disappear.
Heat radiated off of his body. Quickly I jumped off his back and landed on my backside right beside him. Ryau began to laugh- at least I think he was laughing- at me. His laugh was like a chorus of bells ringing through the air.
Blushing, I got up and dusted myself off.
“You must go home and never enter the forest unless I am with you.” “Why?” “There are other lyhaitians that do not listen to reason. They run wild; attacking anything that gets in their way, even their own kind. It would be best if you didn’t wander in the forest alone. Promise me you will stay away until I come to get you.” “how long will that be?” Ryau let out a sigh and shook his head. “ Just promise . . . please.”
