If your browser logs you out every time you try to log in, it's because it isn't accepting the right cookies from this site.

If you use IE, go to the Control Panel and choose 'Internet Options'
Then go to the privacy tab and set the slider to medium-high. If its already on medium high, set it to medium. Then clear your browser cache and try again.

If you use firefox, go to tools > options within the browser and find something similar
like in the privacy tab, make sure the box 'accept cookies from sites' is ticked, and underneath, it says 'until they expire'

IF you haven't got firefox yet, download it from mozilla.org/firefox, or Flock, from flock.com

And about taking 'millions of years to think', that could just be down to a shitty internet connection.

If this doesn't work, then maybe the computer does need to be introduced to that wall of yours.
