I'd be so mad if someone tried to cure me of my sexuality. It's a choice, and if people nitpick at others, then they will only become unhappy. My parents and friends would rather me be happy and gay than be straight and discontented just so they could be comfortable, none of my family members or me are gay, but we have talked about what it would be like if one of us were, and i know that if i ever were, then I'd have a great support base.
